The BlueSky air quality measuring device, a lightweight and laser-based particle measuring device, measures 6 different dust sizes ...

Official air quality measurements are monitored by large, fixed field stations. However, BlueSky Air Quality Monitors are roughly the size of a large grapefruit and light enough that they can be attached to a pole or fence with a plastic zip tie.

 

When connected to Wi-Fi, BlueSky monitors report real-time hyper-local air quality data that can be viewed, shared or downloaded from a secure website. Data such as time, temperature, an approximation to the US Air Quality Index (AQI), and PM2.5 mass concentrations are recorded independently from each device in the cloud and an internal memory card, and multiple devices can be linked to the same account or project.

 

BlueSky monitors are a connected air surveillance solution that delivers reliable, instant data to urban communities to help minimize air pollution.

Anaerobic degradation processes happen in the digestion tower during wastewater treatment in a sewage plant, causing biogas (also sewage or fermentation gas) to arise, which mainly consists of methane and carbon dioxide. 

 

Exact measuring of biogas quantity is one oft he most challenging applications in flow measuring technology. Biogas is very moist, tends to condensate and is particle-laden. Its composition varies and is quite aggressive. Combined with air it can turn into explosive mixtures which is why it’s important to take according safety measures. Applied instruments have to be certified for the defined ex zone.

 

Fermentation gas is measured directly at the digestion tower’s exit and on the other side before the combined heat and power plant. Flow rate towards the flare is also partly measured.

The solution for measuring ultrafine particles in the ambient air ...

We are excited to introduce you to a new comprehensive solution to measure ultrafine particles in the atmosphere. It includes sampling of ultrafine particles as well as particle number (PN) concentration and particle size distribution (PSD) measurements, and is adapted to your needs. This solution is compliant to CEN/TS 16976:2016 and CEN/TS 17434:2020 which harmonize the sampling and measurement process. The TSI software permits that data can be easily integrated into station data management systems.

The Indigo520 transmitter with the barometric pressure measurement module combined with one or two of the Indigo-compatible humidity and temperature measurement probes is a unique combination of a meteorological-grade barometer in a single industrial device.
